Payment Policy
If you have an impairment, disability, language barrier, or otherwise require an alternative means of completing this form or assessing information about housing Coaching, please talk to your counselor about arranging alternative accommodations.Acts Housing is a nonprofit corporation that provides homebuyer Coaching services. Acts works in the best interest of the homebuyer(s) to offer guidance for the finance, purchase and repair of a home that you can afford and maintain.
In order to provide the homebuyer(s) with a credit analysis a fee of $28.55 is charged for an individual or $57.10 for those that are married. PLEASE NOTE: Once the fee is paid, Acts Housing will not issue a refund for the cost of the credit report. If you choose to withdraw from receiving services, this fee will be forfeited.
ACTS Housing services and fees have been carefully explained to me
If a participant is required to pay a fee and believes the charge will create a financial hardship they have the ability to request a hardship waiver. To request a hardship waiver the family is asked to write a letter or send an email explaining how payment of the fee would create a financial hardship and provide the assigned Housing Counselor with this information. The Housing Counselor will provide this statement to the Program Manager for review to determine if the requested will be approved or declinedFee Structure
Acts Housing charges some fees for those who can afford to pay.
Credit report fees are:
- $28.55 for single adults
- $57.10 for married couples
Web based coursework fees are:
- $99 for Pre-purchase Homebuyer Education Course
- $50 for Money Management Course
- $50 for Post Purchase Course
As an organization actively seeking to serve LMI (low to moderate income) families we offer our services at low or no cost to the families served whenever possible. We routinely offer discounted rates for the web-based coursework available using coupon codes.
